2025-03-04: Peyman Tahghighi Defended his PhD Thesis
Congratulations to Dr. Peyman Tahghighi for successfully defending his PhD thesis on March 04, 2025. Peyman was part of the first hiring cohort in 2021 and my second PhD student under direct supervision. He made significant achievements during his PhD program, from winning several awards, publishing 6 journal papers, and presenting at 6 conferences (including MICCAI 2024). He continued his career in Circle Cardiovascular Imaging right after his graduation. I wish him the best in his career and personal life.
Reza Kakavand Graduated in August 10, 2024
Congratulations to Dr. Reza Kakavand for successfully defending his PhD thesis in July 29, 2024. Dr. Reza Kakavand was my first PhD student under my direct supervision. He made significant achievements during his PhD program, from winning several awards and publishing papers in prestigious journals, including Scientific Reports (Nature). He continued his academic career as a postdoc at HPL. I wish him the best in his career and acknowledge for his contribution in our team.
Shahrbanoo PhD Graduation
Congratulation to Dr. Shahrbanoo Bidari on her graduation. Shahrbanoo received her PhD degree from the University of Medical Science with the highest grade. Shahrbanoo was a valuable member of our lab and made significant progress on applying a new bracing method for the management of scoliosis. I am sure today will be only the first of many proud, successful moments for you Shahrbanoo.
